Alder Stand's 3rd Annual Invitational Beltaine - 2006

What: A Beltaine Ritual, Grill and Bonfire party!
When: April 29th, 2006
Where: Geisenheim, Germany

Event Details: We of Alder Stand Coven would like to invite you to join us for Beltaine. The Games, Ritual and Celebration will be held at 5:30pm on Saturday April 29th, in Geisenheim. However, you are welcome to show up as early at 4pm to set up your tent, etc.

Directions will be emailed when we receive your RSVP.

What we are doing:
We are beginning the evening with games of skill to determine the May King and Queen.
Following the games and naming of the May King and Queen, we will share the Beltaine Ritual and Maypole dance.
After the Circle is closed, we will have a grill party complete with a bonfire and drumming and much merry-making, with optional camping overnight.
Camping space is limited, so please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your space.

What you need to bring:
Whatever you would like to grill
A side-dish to share with everyone
Drinks of your choice
Your camping gear if you are staying overnight with us
A lantern if you have one

Coffee will be provided in the morning.

Additional notes:
On Children: While we all love children and we are sure your children are delightful, this event is reserved to adults only.
On smoking: you are welcome to smoke, but even though this is outside, it's our cherry orchard, so please don't throw cigarette butts on the ground. We will have containers for the cigarette butts around the premises.
You are of course welcome to bring guests with you as well. Please note how many in your party in your RSVP.
Those attending must participate in the Ritual. If you or any of your guests would prefer not to participate, this Ritual is not the best one for them to attend. They are of course, welcome to come afterwards for the grilling and party which will begin between 8:30 and 9pm.
There will be photos and video taken - those of you who DO NOT wish to be in photos or video, PLEASE see Rajas when you arrive or note this in your RSVP, so that we can avoid getting you in any of the shots. The photos are for the Coven and Beltaine attendees ONLY and will never be released publicly on a website or elsewhere. We WILL NOT take your photo if you don't want us to. We just thought it would be nice to have photos for those who want them.

We of Alder Stand Coven welcome you to enjoy this celebration with us, as all Rites of Love and Laughter are Her rites and we are happy to share this time with you!
